Selene was dreaming again, but it was all gone as she opened her eyes. She sat up quickly, but fell back onto her pillow as pain shot all throughout her body. She looked all around to find herself in a hospital. She'd never been in one, except for when the expreiments took place. She instantly began to panic. But then she saw Maxx sleeping next to her bed. She calmed slightly. But only slightly.

Maxx was in a giant tube, filled with water, or, what he thought was water. He had a breathing make on, so he knew he wasntin danger, but he felt a sharp pain above, or on his tail bone. He wasnt sure what is was that was hurting him, and at the moment, he didnt care. He looked around, he could see more pods, with his comrads in them, puls a few faces he didnt know. At this point, he paniced, he stugled around, the pain grew more intence. He freed his arm from what seemed to be a restraint, and broke out of the tube. He slid on the floor, he found himself infront of another one of the tubes. He looked up, in it he saw a women, she looked familiar. Maxx jerked up, he didnt know where he was for a momment, but then he regained his memorie. He looked to Selene, who was now awake. "how are you?" he asked, smieling.

"Pfft. I know I've been worse, but I've been better then this too." She attempted a weak smile. She lowered her gaze seconds later. She didn't know what else to say to him, was there anything in the first place.
"So...where are we exactly?"
Nice, way to start a conversation with the guy who basically saved your life.
Her eyes were still glued to the egg shell blanket that covered most of her body.

"We are in Sleepy Hollow, i think Amara might be here, im not sure. But if she is, i can find her in less than five min." He looked at Selene. "what do you remember about the exoeirement done to you?" Damn, what the hell are you thinking, she probobly doesnt remember either, all you have is dreams! Thats like nothing.

Selene's eyes pratically jerked up, what had he asked her? About the expreiments? She surprised herself by actually thinking about it.
"Uh...not a whole lot. The only thing I can remember clearly is the pain..." She thought a couple of seconds more before she said almost blankly, "DNA exchange."
"How about you?"

"I remember, there were a lot of us ther. Maybe about 50 or so, cant make it out. But i remember pain too, a great deal. And i think i tried to break out too." Maxx had a comfused look on his face now. He wasnt sure if it was a dream or if it really happend. And who was that women he saw in the other tube?

Selene nodded, she remember that much.
"Most of them are dead now. Killed off, murdered, however you want to say it."
She felt weak, and she hated that. She basically hated anything where she wasn't in ful control of her body, and being in a hospital bed wasn't helping her.
She started fidgeting with the banket, she didn't care that she was letting Maxx know she was nervous, chances were he already knew that. She just needed something to do!

Maxx looked at Selene. He could tell that she was board, he was too, he hated hospitals. He sighed and leaned back is the chair on the back legs.
How can we gat the hell out of here?
Maxx's eyes opend wide, how could he forget, he could get them both out in a few seconds. He leaned closer to Selene, he wisperd in her ear "So, hows about we get out of here?" He smiled.

Selene smiled, thank god she wasn't the only one who wanted the fuck outta here. She looked around, by the looks of things it was almost time for visitors to be leaving. Maybe she could use this to her advantage.
"Well, we can always put on a dramatic preformace for these doctors and nurses." She thought for a moment longer, a mischievous smile on her face.
"Or we can go the traditional way and just break out once everyone's gone."

Maxx smiled the same way. "I like the way tou think" Wow, she has beautiful eyes. What the hell, where did that come from!? He sat back and thought, what would be best? "Well, maybe we should wait, i dont want to deal with security."

"Well chances are they wont let you stay unless we're related somehow, so we'll need to decided on that." She glanced up at the ceiling, thinking.
"It'll be a few more hours before the hostiple pretty much shut downs for the night, so you have some time to kill." She gave a soft smile. "As I recall you never ate anything, so, if you think it's safe enough there is a cafiteria down in the basement." She was pulling his leg, and she hoped that he knew it. She thought he did.

Maxx smiled, "Im fine, i can live, i dont really trust this place, i dont want to leave you here. Dont worry, when it come time, ill finde a was to hide." He leaned back with his hands behind his head.

Selene smiled ruefully at him. "In case you've forgotten, Maxx," she drew out his name, for what reason, well she wasn't sure. "with the exception of my current situation, I can take care of myself. I have all my life. And if you had any doubt, let it be put to rest with my tesimony."
Why the hell was she talking like this? Maybe it was the drugs the doctors had given her, or maybe she just liked him. Either way, she was curious as to how he would react.

Maxx shifted closer to her. "Well, i just cant let you sit here while i eat, ill bring you some thing then." He was just trying to make an excuse, for some reasone, he didnt want to leave her, he didnt know why.

She smiled again, she found herself doing a lot of that around him. But it was nice to smile.
"You don't have to bring me anything. I'm not hungry really." Then she did something that totally shocked the hell out of herself, again. Selene gently cupped his face so she could look into his eyes, and vise vera.
"You don't have to stay here Maxx. Go take care of you. I doubt the doctors will let me die, and besides, I can feel my strength returning as we speak."
Her voice became a whisper as she pulled her hand away, fully realizing what she had just done. But she wouldn't let him see how she panicked inside.
